Frequently Asked Questions

Pricing, formatting, and where a draft is stored.

How do FairCV's pricing tiers work?

FairCV has two passes, and neither one renews automatically. The $4 Single Job Pass includes a 24-hour window for editing and a clean PDF export. The $14 Active Job Hunt Pass includes 30 days of clean PDF exports, keyword matcher scans, and multiple resume versions.

How does FairCV compare to Jobscan?

FairCV includes a keyword gap check inside the resume builder. It highlights terms from a job description that already appear on the resume and terms that do not. It does not reproduce Jobscan's scoring model.

Why can a two-column resume be harder for an ATS to read?

Many applicant tracking systems read a file from top to bottom. Multi-column layouts, tables, and text boxes can separate a job title from its dates during that read. FairCV uses a single-column layout so each section stays in reading order.

Where is my career data stored?

Drafts stay in this browser by default. If you sign in, FairCV can store that resume in your account so you can open it on another device. FairCV does not sell resume data.
